The Cath Lab at Nizamiye Hospital provides a complete range of interventional cardiology services using catheter-based imaging and treatment—enhancing accuracy, safety, and speed in cardiac care.

Coronary Angiography (Diagnostic Heart Imaging):
We visualize the coronary arteries using contrast dye and X-rays to detect blockages or narrowings—guiding further treatment such as stenting.

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI/Angioplasty):
This procedure involves balloon dilation of narrowed arteries and placement of a stent to keep the artery open, restoring normal blood flow.

Primary PCI for Heart Attack Management:
Performed during a heart attack, this life-saving procedure opens the blocked artery quickly to reduce heart muscle damage and improve survival.

Pacemaker and ICD Implantation:
For patients with dangerous arrhythmias or slow heart rates, we implant devices that regulate heartbeat and prevent sudden cardiac arrest.

Peripheral Angiography and Stenting:
We assess and treat blockages in limbs and other arteries—improving circulation and reducing pain, risk of ulcers, or tissue damage.

Right and Left Heart Catheterization:

Electrophysiology Studies and Ablation (on referral):
In patients with rhythm disorders, we refer for specialized tests and procedures to locate and treat the electrical source of the abnormal heartbeat.
